Sporties started in 1957 as the custodian to the Gladesville Rugby Leagues grounds. From there Sporties developed in to a Bowls and Sports Club with Bowling members growing throughout the 1960-90’s. Over the last 10-15 years Sporties has developed into a true Sporting Club supporting bowls, rugby league, golf, darts, soccer, cricket and athletics.

Sporties is also an active member of the local community with the Club being the meeting place for organisations such as local sporting teams, Probus and the local Schools. In the past years the Club has also raised $10,000 for the Randwick and Westmead Children’s Hospitals and over $25,000 in 10 years for Pink Day.
